KiddieCare Ashdown Nursery is situated just off Long Lane in Hillingdon; we have many schools, libraries, children centres and parks around us for you to go and explore.    

Our Ashdown nursery is registered to cater for 29 children between the ages of 1 and 5 years of age. We also offer a holiday club for children up to the age of 8. We are open 51 weeks of the year from 7.30am to 6pm. When you walk into our nursery you will find a caring and friendly team that will spend time getting to know you and your family. We are here to help as much as we can. We also aim to encourage and meet the individual needs of all the children and their interests.   

Inside our nursery you will find a range of areas for the children to learn and develop in a bright and safe environment. We also have a smaller room for some quieter or more focused activities such as Attention Hillingdon, sleep and rest time, and electronica learning. 

Ashdown has a very large garden for the children to explore all year round; we learn about the world around us including planting in our herb garden, bird watching and learning about the different types of birds. The children use a large range of outside equipment to express themselves by climbing, running, riding, jumping, building, creating and working together as a team. The children love to take part in activities such as reenacting a story that we have read at carpet time e.g going on a bear hunt, and making obstacle courses in the garden.

Over the year, we spend time talking to the children and showing them all the different types of events people around the world celebrate: Chinese New Year, Valentines day, all the St days, world book day, Mother’s day, Father’s day, Diwali, Eid, Black history month, Christmas, and many more.

We also like to do what we can for charities by raising money for GOSH, hosting Macmillan coffee mornings, red nose day/sport relief activities and the shoe box charity during Christmas. 

We provide three healthy well-balanced meals a day; breakfast, lunch and tea, as well as snacks throughout the day. Our menu is varied and prepared fresh on the premise every day. 

Hours and sessions, we provide:

• Fee paying sessions half day and all day 

• Children in need funding: 10 hours all year round or 15 hours term time only 

• 2-year-old funding: 10 hours all year round or 15 hours term time only 

• 3- year-old funding: 10 hours all year round or 15 hours term time only 

• 30 hours funding for 3+ year old children: 30 hours term time only or 25 hours a week for 45 weeks of the year.

We work closely with our parents and the local authority Early Years team to provide the best possible care for your child. We also continuously extend links with the local community, with the aim of expanding your child’s knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
